Around Broomfield, Wicked Rogaines Autumn Rogaine is an off-road event where running legs only get you part of the way. The objective is to “visit as many checkpoints as possible” while “navigating by map and compass,” making it feel less like following a marked trail and more like solving the landscape at pace. The terrain shifts from “open farmland to hilly forest,” meaning you can be moving freely one minute and grinding uphill through trees the next. Teams go entirely on foot between checkpoints, with options for solo competitors in shorter events and a separate event for kids. It suits those who like choosing lines, making decisions with tired legs, and earning every checkpoint rather than just chasing a finish banner.
