Über dieses Rennen
The Bieg Kolorowej Skarpetki is a charity run in Rzeszów, taking place in early June with a morning start. It is organized with people with Down syndrome as a focus, so the day is structured around inclusion as much as racing. The program offers runners several options: 10 km, 5 km, 3 km, a 5 km Nordic walking event, and a 321 m children's race.
The 3 km race goes through the center of Rzeszów and is intended for beginners, young runners, and anyone seeking a short, manageable distance. Previous editions have also utilized the Bulwary nad Wisłokiem area, positioning the event near one of the city's primary riverside locations. The race maintains a fair-play sporting format, but its strongest tradition is social: participants gather to support a charitable cause, acknowledge diversity and solidarity, and cross the finish line together, rather than prioritizing the clock above all else.
