Niebieski Bieg

Niebieski Bieg is a Polish blue-themed run supporting autism awareness, with events taking place in locations like the Marina in Grudziądz, Radziwiłłów Park, and Kwidzyn. The Grudziądz event is organized by Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Osobom Autystycznym SEZAM and typically includes a children's run, a main run, and a Nordic walking event. A portion of the entry fees and related income funds autism diagnosis and therapy through SEZAM, making the race a local fundraiser as well as a day for physical activity. The event is designed for families, not exclusively for competitive runners. Children can participate in runs within the Marina area, while adults can opt for the main route or walk it with poles. The Nordic walking option in Grudziądz is for recreation and is not timed. Other Blue Run events also feature short, accessible distances, such as 1 km family runs and a 5 km route through the forest in Kwidzyn’s dendrological garden. Participants often wear blue clothing, use balloons, and engage in warm-ups, emphasizing family involvement. The core purpose remains autism awareness, integration, and providing practical support for individuals on the autism spectrum.
