Huelva's running scene centers on flat coastal routes and the Tinto River estuary; the San Silvestre Huelva Onupolis and 10K Huelva Puerta del Descubrimiento draw local runners to the riverfront and through the city centre at sea level. Cyclists head inland to the wine country hills around Condado de Huelva, where the Reto BTT Capital del Vino tackles 50km of rolling terrain and technical singletrack through vineyards and cork forests, climbing to roughly 300m elevation gain.
