Der Longview Early Edition Rotary Harvest Classic startet am Life Works building auf der New York Street in Longview, Washington. Da gibt's am Herbstmorgen Rennen für Läufer, Walker, Schulteams und die Kleinsten. Man kann zwischen einem 5K Lauf/Walk oder einem 10K Lauf wählen, beide starten morgens. Der 1st Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K ist ein 5K-Lauf, der in Portland, Oregon, im Laurelhurst Park stattfindet, und zwar zum Ostomy Awareness Day. Das ist ein familienfreundlicher Lauf mit einer OPEN Division und einer OSTOMATE Division. Alle Einnahmen gehen an die United Ostomy Associations of America, eine 501(c)(3) gemeinnützige Organisation, die Menschen mit einem Stoma oder einer kontinenten Diversion mit Ressourcen, Aufklärung, Interessenvertretung und Unterstützung hilft. Teilnehmer können Laufgruppen oder Teams bilden, Spenden einzeln oder im Team sammeln, und bekommen ihre Startgebühr zurück, wenn sie mindestens $150 zusammenbekommen.

Running Scared is a Halloween-themed 5K and 13K based at Captain William Clark Park in Washougal, Washington, in the Greater Portland area. The shorter race starts at 8:00 AM and the 13K follows at 8:30 AM, giving runners a choice between a quick morning run and a longer fall-distance challenge. Costumes are encouraged, but the event also works for runners who just want to race, jog, or bring kids into the Halloween mood without making the day too serious. The standout option is the Deadly Double, where runners complete both the 5K and the 13K and get separate recognition for that combined effort. The Couve Clover Run is a St. Patrick’s-style run and walk in downtown Vancouver, Washington, held annually on the weekend after the Shamrock Run. Participants wear festive green for a choice of 1, 3, 7, or 10 miles. The shorter options are accessible to walkers, families, and runners seeking a shorter effort. The 3-mile walk is untimed, and the Lucky Leap 1-mile walk offers participants the same shirt, medal, food, and beverages as longer-distance runners. Why Racing Events hosts the race, which raises money for local charities. The route is mostly flat with a couple of short hills, described as a fast course. The longer courses pass through recognizable Vancouver locations, including historic Officer’s Row, Fort Vancouver, and the Columbia Riverfront. Medals, T-shirts, free beer, pint glasses from Main Event, and a post-race party with downtown Vancouver pubs and breweries are part of the event.
