34th Annual YMCA Turkey Trot

The YMCA Turkey Trot, a Thanksgiving Day 5K in Fredericksburg, Virginia, runs through downtown. This is its 34th annual event, open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. It includes a wheelchair 5K and a 1-mile race for children. The youngest participants can join the 1/4-mile Tot Trot on the James Monroe High School track the day before the main race; this is for children age 5 and under. All finishers get medals. The 5K offers cash prizes to the top five male and female finishers. Proceeds benefit Rappahannock Area YMCA programs for youth, community health, and affordable access.
