Über dieses Rennen
The Brimfield Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5k run/walk held at Brimfield Winery, 35 Main St. in Brimfield, Massachusetts. It is designed for participants seeking a relaxed race day with wine, where walkers are integrated into the event rather than treated as secondary. Each registration includes a soft ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a finisher medal, a race bib, and a portable shatterproof wine glass.
The course takes advantage of the winery setting, emphasizing a scenic run through the Brimfield Winery grounds over achieving a fast road time, culminating in a pour of wine at the finish. Results will be posted online, with timing and scoring provided by J3 Timing. The winery's initial wines are produced from grapes originating in Suisun Valley, a Northern California wine region situated between San Francisco and Sacramento, lending a specific origin story to the post-race beverage.
