Über dieses Rennen
The Dozinky Doozy Gravel Challenge is a 200km gravel ride in the Bohemian Alps north of Lincoln, Nebraska, starting and finishing at Czechland Lake Recreation Area near Prague. It is structured as a harvest-season cycling challenge, covering approximately 120 to 125 miles with about 11,000 feet of climbing and a 10-hour 25-minute cutoff, requiring a 12 mph pace.
The route follows a cloverleaf design: three distinct 40-mile loops, each concluding at Czechland Lake before the subsequent loop commences. Riders will encounter dirt roads, steep ascents, and a descent into the Platte River valley. The challenge stems from the combined distance and repeated climbs, rather than a single extended point-to-point effort. A three-person relay allows each participant to complete one loop, while solo riders tackle the entire Doozy. Registration provides a post-ride meal and drinks, aligning with the event’s harvest theme after a demanding day on the bike.
