FALL Run The Farm

FALL Run The Farm is a late-October trail race at Muscoot Farm in Katonah/Somers, New York. The main event is a 5-mile run on the farm’s trails, with the adult race starting after two Kids Run The Farm races for younger runners. The morning is built around families as much as trail runners: one kids’ race is for ages 7 to 12, another is for children 6 and under, and the 5-miler follows at 9:30 a.m. The race uses Muscoot Farm itself as the draw, giving runners a fall morning on park trails rather than a road course. It also points people toward the Muscoot Farmers Market, which runs on Sundays from May through November, and toward other local farmers markets in the area. The fall race has been run more than a dozen times, so it feels like a local tradition with a practical rhythm: arrive early, park, pick up a bib, collect a shirt if ordered, and get warmed up before heading onto the trails.
