Über dieses Rennen
The Grand River Shootout is a two-day criterium race series in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, held in early August. The event is structured around short, technical downtown circuits where riders complete tight laps at high speed. Consequently, positioning, cornering, and quick decisions are as important as raw power.
Elite and amateur racers compete on the same schedule. The event also serves as the final stop of the Midwest Cup Road Series and is on the USA Cycling Paracycling National Calendar. Omnium racing is included for men’s and women’s H1-H2 and H3-H5 categories. Spectators can view the racing up close, with local food vendors and a festival atmosphere surrounding the course.
