Über dieses Rennen
The Grandview 13.1 & 5k is a paved-road race held at Columbus Youth Camp. Both the 13.1-mile and 5k races begin in the morning, with the half marathon concluding in the early afternoon. The half marathon is designed as a challenging road race, featuring significant elevation changes with steep climbs and descents, and rolling hills rather than a flat course.
The half marathon begins at Columbus Youth Camp, descending 250 feet over 1.9 miles along Wolf Creek to a turnaround point. It then climbs back before directing runners past the start line and descending another 200 feet in three-quarters of a mile toward Grandview Lake. The course then circles the lake, incorporating additional rolling hills, and concludes with the final ascent back to Columbus Youth Camp. The 5k offers a shorter distance on the same event morning, while the half marathon is structured around its distinct downhill and uphill segments.
