Greater Midland Dow RunWalk

The Greater Midland Dow RunWalk is a June race day held at the Greater Midland Community Center on Jefferson Avenue in Midland, Michigan. Established in 1986, it features a 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk, 1 Mile Run, and Tot Trot. This variety allows participants ranging from serious runners and walkers to families and young children to compete on the same morning. The longer races start first, with the mile and Tot Trot following. Finishers of the 10K and 5K races receive medals. Packet pickup occurs during a RunWalk Expo at the community center, which includes local food trucks and vendor activities. Pickup is also available on race morning. The event proceeds regardless of weather and is supported by Members First Credit Union. It serves as the initial event in the Midland Triple Challenge, connecting it to Run the River and the Loons Pennant Race.
