The High Mountain Half Marathon is a cool, relaxing destination race, perfect to escape high temps. It's a good training race for a fall marathon. You'll be bused from Blue Ridge High School for a 6:00 am start. The point-to-point course takes you down Porter Mountain, surrounded by cedar and pine trees, finishing at the Blue Ridge High School track. Don't miss the Friday evening Glow/Color Run/Walk, where participants can stretch their creativity with paints.
