Über dieses Rennen
The Fall Denali Ultra Trail Marathon takes runners, hikers, and walkers around Mohawk Mountain Ski Area in Cornwall, Connecticut, for a 48-hour fall weekend, commencing at noon and concluding two days later at noon. The objective is 43-plus miles, approximately 69.2 km, with 20,825 feet of elevation change. It is part of IronHike’s Spring and Fall Denali series and employs a “Weekend Warrior” format designed for experienced ultra and mountain athletes, offering solo, buddy, and team participation.
The course consists of a ski-slope loop repeated 35 times. The primary challenge involves accumulating elevation gain and loss equivalent to Denali, North America's tallest mountain, rather than covering extensive new terrain. IronHike characterizes it as a “Damn-this-is-hard” weekend mountain trek, aligning with its format: two full days for running, power-hiking, walking, resting, and continuous movement. The event is developed, owned, and operated by a U.S. military veteran-owned company.
