Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk

The Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning 5K run/walk in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The start and finish are at the Northern Lights YMCA. It accommodates a broad audience: runners can race, walkers can participate, families can use strollers, and dogs are permitted. The route follows neighborhood streets. All participants receive a long-sleeve shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top youth finishers (ages 12 and under) in their respective categories. The event includes pies for participants demonstrating the most Turkey Day spirit. Race-morning packet pickup is at the YMCA, with the option to collect packets for others.
