Mississippi Blues Marathon, Half, 10K & 5K 2027

The Mississippi Blues Marathon starts and finishes on the 50-yard line inside Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. The event offers a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, marathon relay, a virtual race option, and a BB Kids Half Mile Fun Run. The longer races begin in the morning, with shorter races commencing an hour afterward. All distances share the same stadium start and finish, bringing runners back into the football complex instead of ending on a street or in a park. Participants receive race shirts, finisher medals, commemorative bibs, and Visit Jackson tote bags. Post-race amenities include jambalaya, fruit, snacks, water, Gatorade, soft drinks, beer for those over 21, and cupcakes for official finishers.
