Über dieses Rennen
The Ozark Diamond Gauntlet is a timed-loop endurance race held at Ballparks National in Macks Creek, Missouri. Participants run laps on a 3.1-mile course for their selected time duration. Options range from a single-loop Rec League to 6, 9, and 12-hour formats, featuring baseball-inspired names such as Triple Play, Middle Innings, The Full Game, and Extra Innings. Runners may opt for the Pure Running Division, a straightforward timed run without obstacles, or the Gauntlet Division, which offers a less predictable challenge.
In the Gauntlet Division, each lap incorporates one or two physical or skill-based challenges. The specific obstacle for the next lap is revealed upon completion of the current one, as runners draw a numbered token at the finish line. The 12-hour race introduces an additional element: its final three hours become the Night Gauntlet, run under stadium lights. The race's use of a repeating loop within a spectator-friendly ballpark setting allows families and supporters to follow the event more readily than they might on a linear course.
