The 12th Annual race series unfolds across the picturesque landscapes of Barbour Woods and Haystack Mountain, offering a challenging and scenic experience. This trail event provides special access to private paths for its grueling half marathon, alongside options that traverse Beech Hill and wind past the historic Killarney Bridge.
Runners will navigate a diverse course featuring a mixture of single and double track, carriage roads, and a flat stretch of railroad bed. Expect intense single track leading to the summit of Norfolk's iconic Haystack Mountain Tower, descending on carriage paths and gladed wetlands like the Swamp Trail. This is a cupless event, and while dogs are not allowed on the course, finishers can enjoy a free slice of pizza and beverages from Norbrook Farm Brewery.
