Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint

The Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint is a Christmas-season race morning in south Flower Mound, connected to the Town Christmas program and designed for families and runners alike. The Reindeer Run is a chip-timed, gently sloping route suitable for strollers, and the Grinch Sprint offers children their own 1-mile race. The runs begin at 10:00 a.m., with awards presented around midday. All entry proceeds support local and international charity efforts. The Reindeer Run follows park paths, including trails in Heritage and Bakersfield parks. An alternative route begins at Sorrells Street Park, circles Recreation Park, and finishes back at Sorrells Park. Children in the fun run pass through a make-believe town featuring Christmas characters, and participants are welcome to wear holiday attire. Following the races, Santa and the Grinch are available for photos. Every participant receives a medal and T-shirt. The finish area provides hot drinks, cookies, pancakes, and fresh donuts.
