Über dieses Rennen
The Run for Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 San Francisco begins at Crissy Field, offering 5K, 10K, and 21K half marathon distances. This is a small, private group run, not a large chip-timed event, with morning waves limited to 15-20 participants. Runners and walkers of all speeds are welcome; individuals under 18 require a guardian. A portion of race revenue and all funds raised support the American Cancer Society.
The course map is sent via email prior to race day, and bibs are distributed at the start. There is no packet pickup, as shirts and other merchandise are mailed directly to participants. The event is designed for simplicity: no timing chips, no specialized gear, and coordinators are available to assist anyone wishing to track their time by bib number. Participants receive a medal, a quality running shirt, and a towel. Sold-out waves may be joined via a waitlist or by selecting a virtual run option. Virtual participants can run the distance at their chosen location, use any tracking device, receive coaching support via text, and submit their results to receive their medal.
