Au-Lauf Stockerau

Au-Lauf Stockerau is an October race day held at the Forsthaus in the Stockerauer Au, using the same location for the start and finish. Landjugend Stockerau organizes the event, which was established to encourage more physical activity within the city. The primary races are 5 km and 10 km, catering to runners seeking a shorter local race or a longer challenge. The event is designed for all age groups, not exclusively adults. Children from kindergarten age can participate in 300 m or 600 m races, with every child receiving a medal. Older children have their own 1,000 m Youngstars race and a 3,000 m youth race. Hundreds of runners participated in the second edition across all races, transforming the Stockerauer Au into the day's central race area. The start location is accessible by bus, train, or car, and parking is available at the Alte Au sports hall.
