Kosmopiloten Paarzeitfahren

The Kosmopiloten Paarzeitfahren sends two riders from Bärnkopf down toward Zwettl in Lower Austria. The start is at 968 meters and the finish is around 600 meters. This 43.3 km pair time trial takes place in the Waldviertel region and has been organized by Kosmopiloten for over 25 years. Riders may use full time trial bikes, but road bikes are also permitted, meaning the field is not restricted to specialist aero setups. The route includes 370 meters of climbing, yet the overall descent helps maintain high average speeds. Strong teams can use aero helmets and aim for a fast time, while less aggressive pairs can ride together in the slipstream and still appreciate the event's purpose. Registration includes a shuttle service for those who sign up promptly, which is important as the race begins in Bärnkopf and concludes in Zwettl.
