The Längseelauf is an 8.5 km running race held in Drasendorf, within the municipality of St. Georgen am Längsee, Austria. It takes place in late May and is organized by DSG Drasendorf, the local sports club.
The race day features a strong village-club atmosphere. DSG Drasendorf acknowledges its long history in conjunction with the Längseelauf. The program includes sports moderator Toni Wolligger and interviews with Rafael Stary and Werner Pietsch jun. Drasendorf’s Olympic athletes Sabine Payer and Elina Stary are honored by the municipality; collectively, they have earned three Paralympic medals.
