Stadt-Triathlon-Amstetten

Stadt-Triathlon-Amstetten offers a short triathlon within Amstetten: 300 m swimming, 9.1 km cycling, and a 3 km run. It is designed for hobby athletes, recreational racers, and first-time triathletes, with 200 individual entries and 30 relay spots. Tria Team N West, Best Zeit Event & Sports, and the Amstetten municipality organize it, using the city center as the main race area. The swim begins at the city pool, followed by a change there before cycling via Stadionstraße and Anzengruberstraße toward the center. The bike course consists of five laps through Graben, Bahnhofstraße, Wiener Straße, Hauptplatz, and Rathausstraße, allowing spectators multiple views of the riders. The run covers three laps from Hauptplatz via Preinsbacher Straße, Schulstraße, and Wiener Straße back to Hauptplatz, with another transition zone on Hauptplatz. Organizers anticipate participants from across Austria and neighboring countries, alongside a strong showing from Amstetten and the surrounding region.
