Wobachbergrennen

Wobachbergrennen marks the St. Veit/Gölsen conclusion of the Alpenteamcup, a series of hill races for road and mountain bikes. The cup typically comprises seven events, with Wobachbergrennen serving as the season's final race, determining the overall team standings. Clubs can register up to 25 participants per team before the initial event, establishing the cup as a sustained team competition rather than a single-day entry race. The competition scoring is organized by sub-teams within each club or squad. For men's teams, the four fastest riders form the first sub-team, the subsequent four form the second, and so forth. For women's teams, these groupings consist of three riders each. Points are awarded based on finishing position in each race: 100 points for first place, 80 for second, and 60 for third. Riders finishing from 14th place onward receive no points. To be included in the final season standings, a team must have competed in at least four scored races. The team accumulating the most points after Wobachbergrennen is declared the cup winner.
