Bridge to Brisbane is a mass fun run held in Brisbane, Australia, typically in August. It offers 10 km, 5 km, and 10 km wheelchair race categories. The event attracts a large number of participants; the inaugural race had under 5,000 entrants, while subsequent events have seen over 45,000 participants. It is designed for a broad range of participants, not exclusively elite club runners, and annually supports charitable causes, including the Mark Hughes Foundation.
The current course follows the original bridge-to-showgrounds path, beginning near the Eastern Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge in Lytton and concluding at the Ekka showgrounds in Bowen Hills. Previous iterations utilized Kingsford Smith Drive and the Inner City Bypass. One edition featured a city course crossing three bridges, finishing at South Bank Parklands. Initially named Bridge to Bay, its route targeted the coast with a finish at Manly. Later, it finished at New Farm Park, but traffic issues in Fortitude Valley and New Farm led to the finish being relocated to the RNA Showgrounds. The 5 km race commences after the 10 km, allowing some participants to complete both events. A Best Dressed Competition is also part of the day's activities.
