Harris Dam anchors the event, with three colour-coded courses leading into the trails and native bushland surrounding the water. Collie Trail Fest offers a genuine trail running morning, not a road race relocated to dirt. Choose Green for a beginner-friendly adventure, Blue for a taste of remote trail running, or Black for technical terrain and a challenging day. All routes traverse pristine Western Australian forest, featuring marked trails, support, and scenic photo opportunities. Participants include walkers, children, teenagers, first-time trail runners, regulars aiming for a strong effort, and those seeking a nature-based adventure. The start and finish area has a village atmosphere, with DJ entertainment and food trucks creating a festival vibe post-run.
