Bruny Island run-Labillardiere peninsula 2026

Jetty Beach Camp Area anchors this clockwise loop around Labilladiere Peninsula, a trail run that feels more like a day out with a number pinned on than a road-race event. The western section begins on a 4wd track, revealing "magnificent views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the Southern ranges" before the route descends toward the peninsula's far end. At the bottom, a "rare view of Partridge Island from the picturesque Butlers Beach" is offered, after which the running shifts to "beautiful single track along the eastern side of the peninsula" heading back to Jetty Beach. The field is capped, registration is at the run start, and many participants extend their stay, enjoying the campground, surf, snorkelling, sea kayaking, and nearby walks.
