Royal National Park provides the setting: sandstone cliffs, rainforest gullies, ocean views, and rugged terrain and water crossings suitable for a challenging team expedition. The Great Adventure Challenge has been held annually since 2008, where teams of eight navigate a course to support the Starlight Children's Foundation.
Participants will mountain bike through native bushland, trail run on coastal paths, kayak on clear waterways, and coasteer along the park's striking coastline. The unique element involves surprise team challenges designed to assess problem-solving and collaboration, making it a test of both physical and mental limits for those participating as a unit.
