Murrays Beach and Booderee National Park define the Ultra Trail Jervis Bay: a point-to-point coastal trail through a “wild and ancient landscape” back toward Huskisson. This is not a manicured park run; it is single track, hiking trail, beach, cliff trail, fire trail, and coastal running track stitched together through “remote beaches, coastal woodlands and loads of rolling trails.”
Expect “towering cliff lines with 180 degree ocean vistas,” then enough soft sand, rough technical trail, and steep climbs to keep you alert. The course has “punchy climbs, mixed with fast flowing sections,” allowing first-time ultra runners to settle in, while experienced runners can still “attack a fast remote trail” if their legs are honest. Everyone self-seeds on the day and starts in a single group, with Junior Runners also part of the wider race program.
