Muideloop Gent

The Muideloop Gent begins at Loods 23 on Dublinstraat in Ghent. It is a neighborhood event focused on jogging, walking, and children's races, organized by K-fit in the Muide-Meulestede area. Pre-registration is required for all distances. Adult jogging options are 3.4 km, 6.8 km, or 10 km. Walkers can select a 3.4 km route, and children can run 400 m (up to age 10) or 800 m (ages 10-12). Jogging entry has a small fee, while children's races are free. The course follows the old port side of Ghent, with the 3.4 km route extending towards Meulestede's head. Both race bib pickup and the start are located at Loods 23, keeping the event localized. The Muideloop collaborates with Gent loopt in t rond, a local running series connecting Ghent's running events, and receives support from local partners and sponsors. Its primary goal is to encourage neighborhood participation through accessible runs and a walk, avoiding a large commercial focus.
