The Rovertsche Leij Trail is a trail run in Ravels, Antwerp province, near the Dutch-Belgian border south of Tilburg. It is part of the Brabantse Trail Series, a group of four trail runs for recreational runners and walkers seeking an off-road day in nature. The event is scheduled for late August, offering route options from around 8 km to about 25 km.
The running takes place primarily on unpaved paths, utilizing the natural areas that make this border region suitable for Dutch-style trail running. The shorter route options are 8 km, 10 km, and 12 km, allowing beginners, walkers, and more experienced runners to select a manageable distance. Descriptions of the Rovertsche Leij route call it beautiful and the event friendly; the race also provides an opportunity to test Brooks trail shoes within the trail-series structure.
