The 1ª Corrida do CIODES is a 5 km road race in Macapá, taking place in June. It is part of the 20-year anniversary of CIODES, Amapá’s integrated public-safety operations center. CIODES manages urgent and emergency calls via 190, connecting the race directly to the individuals who answer calls, coordinate responses, and support public safety operations throughout the state.
The course winds through key city locations, welcoming CIODES staff, public-safety professionals, and local residents to participate. The race's anniversary commemorates over 2.2 million logged incidents and more than 28,000 dispatches involving the Fire Department and Military Police within a recent 12-month period. The event is also part of a broader anniversary program featuring tributes, training, and staff development, aiming to promote sport, health, and medical guidance among the center's employees.
