The Circuito Banco do Brasil in Belo Horizonte is a stop on a Brazilian running series that includes ten stages across the country. This event is in its ninth edition and features 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km races, accommodating beginners with shorter distances while providing experienced runners a standard road-race choice.
The circuit begins in Mato Grosso in April and includes cities like Sao Paulo, Salvador, and Rio de Janeiro before arriving in Belo Horizonte. Over 700,000 people have participated in the series since its start. Some cities also offer children's races and dog runs. The race village provides more than just bib pickup and finish medals, including free physical assessments, massages, relaxation areas, and sponsor activities focused on health and daily exercise.
