Halloween Haunting

Halloween Haunting takes place in late October at Springbank Park in London, Ontario, with all race distances contained within the park. The SoleScience Race Series event offers participants four distance options: 10k, 5k, 2.3k, and a Kiddy Trot for children. The event begins in the morning and is designed for families and regular runners alike, featuring shorter distances alongside the longer road races. The 10k course consists of two loops on paved roads and bike paths, while the 5k is a single loop on similar surfaces. The 2.3k route utilizes the roadways in the west end of Springbank Park, and the Kiddy Trot covers the final 300 meters of the race path. All routes follow the park’s paved pathway system alongside the river, are traffic-free, and are clearly marked and marshalled. Costumes are a key element of the day: participants are encouraged to wear costumes while racing, with costume awards exclusively for those running in their outfits. Additionally, every child completing the Kiddy Trot receives a goodie bag at the finish line.
