Le Trail de Vallée du Parc is a mountain trail race held at Vallée du Parc on Chemin de la Vallée-du-Parc in Shawinigan, Quebec. The race takes place in late June and features four distances: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. It is part of the Série Trails Québec calendar, which includes events from short runs suitable for beginners to long mountain challenges up to 70 km.
The race utilizes natural mountain trails, not roads. Participants can range from children and first-time trail runners to regular club members and experienced racers. For the 10 km and 21 km distances, the event contributes to a season championship where runners earn points in their category. Consistency throughout the series is therefore important, alongside individual performance. Athlétisme Québec sanctions the races, and results may be used for Betrail scoring, allowing runners to monitor their standing within the broader trail running community.
