Port City Beer Run 2026

The Port City Beer Run begins at Moosehead Breweries in Saint John, New Brunswick, offering participants a 5K or 10K run before the drinks festival. The 10K departs in the late morning, with the 5K following. Both distances are designed for a relaxed summer-kickoff atmosphere, not intense competition. This is the event's 11th year, and entries for the run, beer-fest-only tickets, and designated-driver tickets have recently sold out. The 5K route travels from Moosehead Breweries to the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal, following the Harbour Passage. After finishing, runners access a Brew Fest featuring over 20 producers offering beer, cider, wine, and spirits, with unlimited samples for those of legal drinking age. Non-runners can purchase fan tickets for brew fest entry at the cruise terminal, and designated-driver tickets provide a less expensive, alcohol-free option. The weekend also features the Port City Beer Mile, a self-guided loop through Uptown Saint John where participants visit locations for 12-ounce drinks, gather stamps, and enter a gift-card drawing.
