The Quebec 5K Foam Fest is a 5K obstacle fun run at Centre de Ski Le Relais in Lac-Beauport, just outside Quebec City. It is built less like a road race and more like a messy outdoor playground, with more than 25 obstacles packed into the route. The headline features are the world’s largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and a reported 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Runners are sent out in waves through the morning and early afternoon, which keeps the course moving without making it feel like a traditional timed race.
The course is open to beginners, experienced runners, and kids aged 7 and older, with children 7 to 12 required to go with a registered adult. People can walk, run, or crawl at their own pace, and every obstacle is optional, so the event works for groups with mixed fitness levels. The festival area adds music, food, local vendors, a beer garden, and a free kids’ zone for children 6 and under. Spectators can enter the festival area for free, and the event also supports Make-A-Wish Canada through fundraising.
