The Willibald Pasture Dash is a cross-country race held at Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery on Reidsville Road in Ayr, Ontario. This small, annual event, now in its fifth edition, offers runners a choice between 5 km and 10 km distances on a pasture loop, deviating from a traditional road course. The race utilizes a 2.5 km circuit, with the 5 km race consisting of two laps and the 10 km race comprising four laps. The event features straightforward, local organization, with chip timing and results managed by Enfield Timing, and awards presented to the top three finishers in each category.
The course guides participants through the farm's pastures, integrating the farm's sights and sounds into the race itself. Following the finish, runners are welcome to remain for food, drinks, and camaraderie. Each participant receives a selection of items, including a specially brewed beer for those aged 19 and older. Andre Morgan captures photographs of the event, and proceeds benefit the rare Charitable Research Reserve via Run for Life. The race is organized by Run for Life in conjunction with Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery, with support from local entities such as Runners' Choice Waterloo and Hustle & Flow Coaching.
