The event is limited to 115 participants, is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario, and uses electronic timing by Chiptime Results. Remaining funds after operational costs are donated to Run-Walk-Roll for WRHNCC, extending over ten years of financial support for this initiative. The loop begins with a quick, level section alongside the covered aid station, heading towards Camp Heidelberg pond. It then proceeds through mostly maintained trail featuring brief rocky and root-filled segments, along with some gentle inclines. Each circuit adds approximately 45 m of elevation gain, contributing to a consistent effort over longer distances rather than a single strenuous climb. Relay teams consist of 2 to 4 runners who exchange an ankle chip at the start/finish area, with each runner required to finish a complete lap before a substitution. The aid station offers practical, abundant snacks: soda, water, electrolytes, candy, chips, pickles, and occasionally PB&J sandwiches or pie. The race is cup-free, requiring runners to use their own bottles; pacers, pets, and alcohol are prohibited on the premises.

Tails on Trails is a dog-friendly charity trail race at Bechtel Park in Waterloo, run in late spring and hosted by Run Waterloo with the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth. Runners can choose a timed 5K race, a 2.5K fun run or walk, or a 200m Pup Run for kids and puppies. The main distances are open to solo runners and human-dog teams. The course uses Bechtel Park trails beside Waterloo's dog park. The loops are short enough for walkers, first-timers, and canicross teams, as well as people aiming for a faster run. The first edition raised $16,000 for the Humane Society and had over 200 dogs running with their humans. Entry includes snacks, a shirt, a finisher medal, and swag. Medals are awarded to runners and canine teams, ribbons to Pup Run kids, and extra fundraising options are available for individuals or teams.

Halloween Haunting takes place in late October at Springbank Park in London, Ontario, with all race distances contained within the park. Costumes are a key element of the day: participants are encouraged to wear costumes while racing, with costume awards exclusively for those running in their outfits. Additionally, every child completing the Kiddy Trot receives a goodie bag at the finish line.

The Kicking PancreAS™ 5K in London, ON, is a 5K run/walk held at Springbank Gardens near the Guy Lombardo Pavilion on Wonderland Road South in London, Ontario. It begins in the late afternoon in November. Check-in opens an hour before the start, and the course remains open for 90 minutes. The event accommodates participants of all levels, including first-timers, families, charity teams, and individuals aiming for a personal best. The London event is one in the Kicking PancreAS™ series, which generates funds for pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, healthcare education, and Canadian research. Participants receive a bib, swag, and a finisher medal. The event features a purple, glow-in-the-dark theme, with costumes encouraged. All funds raised remain in Canada. The fundraising goal is just over CA$47,000, with a participant target of 265, following a record-setting previous edition. Registration is capped and must be completed before race day, as no on-site sign-ups are available.
