Běh Cvikovem is a road running event in Cvikov, a small town in the Česká Lípa district of northern Bohemia. The main race is 15 km around Cvikov, with the town square used for the start and finish and Nerudova elementary school serving as race base. It is run in September, with children’s categories starting in the morning and the main field later in the day.
The 15 km course sends endurance runners over two large, gently rolling loops through the town and nearby surroundings. The route is asphalt and has only minimal climbing, and shorter options include 7.5 km and 4.3 km races, plus children’s races from very short sprints up to youth distances. The Town of Cvikov organizes it, and its long run of editions makes it one of the oldest running races in the Czech Republic.
