Heimstaden Havířovská desítka

Heimstaden Havířovská desítka is a 10 km road race in Havířov, offering shorter or related race options alongside the main ten. The event takes place in the city center, using Republiky Square for both the start and finish. It also supports a charity cause, making race day about more than just times and placings. Approximately 1,200 runners are registered across the various distances, marking the largest field the event has hosted. The relay category is particularly popular, with 60 teams participating. The course winds through central Havířov. This anniversary edition is also attracting well-known Czech athletes, such as Pavel Maslák, a three-time world indoor champion. Maslák mentioned that his first 10 km race was at Havířovská desítka and he wished to compete in the distance there again.
