Jilemnice - Žalý

Jilemnice - Zaly is a public uphill running race from the town square in Jilemnice to Zaly in the Krkonose foothills. Adults and youth compete in the main climb, while younger children have their own races, including school-age races in the castle park and a Lollipop Run for the smallest runners in the square after the hill race begins. The route departs the square, passes through Zlabek, crosses a road on the hill in Valterice, then proceeds by Sovinec and Krizovky before following the yellow and red marked trails up to Zaly. Cesky krkonossky spolek Ski Jilemnice organizes the event, now in its 46th edition, marking it as a long-running local hill race.
