L'Étape Slovakia by Tour de France is a road-cycling weekend centered in Bratislava, offering a full 112 km race route and a shorter 60 km option. The 60 km route, named The Ride, is intended for less experienced cyclists and is part of the RoadRace series. The 112 km route, named The Race, is part of the RoadMarathon series. Saturday hosts children’s rides and a 30 km Family Ride, with the main 60 km and 112 km races taking place on Sunday.
The 112 km course crosses the Malé Karpaty mountains, featuring three designated climbs: Strmina, Pezinská Baba, and Veľký Javorník/Biely Kríž. Participants will then encounter Kamzík close to the finish line, accumulating approximately 1,700 meters of elevation gain overall. The event attracts a strong amateur field, with around five hundred finishers recorded for each of the two primary distances in recent years.
