Ludgeřovický kros

Ludgeřovický kros takes place in Ludgeřovice, featuring a route primarily on forest and field paths, with less emphasis on roads. Participants can choose from a 10 km run, a 4 km run, or a 9 km Nordic walking event. Additionally, children can compete in races of 100 and 500 meters. This race is an annual event and is included in the Prajzsko-opavská running league. The 10 km course involves approximately 140 meters of elevation gain and crosses mixed terrain, passing through the Černý les area and notable local sites. The event is subtitled “Run of War Veterans,” connecting it to Ludgeřovice’s War Veterans Day activities, and is held with the patronage of the President of the Czech Republic. The participant limit is 400, and the prior edition reached full capacity. All finishers receive a custom metal medal along with a traditional Czech reward: smoked sausage or grilled hermelin.
