Plánská 11 is a late-summer charity running event held at Koupaliště Planá in Planá, located in the Tachov district of western Bohemia. The primary race covers approximately 11 km, with alternative options including a 10 km race, a 21 km race, and a short children’s race of about 100 m featuring obstacles and task stations. Rozběháme Tachovsko organizes this as a public sports day to raise funds for Psí útulek U Šmudliny Tachov-Vítkov, a local animal shelter.
The event caters to more than just road runners. It features a canicross race over 8.2 km of terrain with 155 m of elevation gain, and scooterjöring, where participants race on a scooter with a dog. Children have a dedicated program between the dog race and the main race. All finishers receive medals, and the top three in each category are awarded medals, diplomas, and prizes. Following the main race, a prize lottery takes place. Typically, a partner provides running-shoe testing and canicross gear rental, aligning with the race's dog-friendly nature.
