Rakovnická 15

Rakovnická 15 is a 15 km road race in the Rakovník District of Central Bohemia, running from Křivoklát to Rakovník on asphalt. A 10 km option, Desítka, is also available. The main race is not a flat town run; it begins climbing almost immediately, with a short steep rise after the first 100 meters. The most challenging section starts around the second kilometer, featuring a 2.5 km climb through Městečko. Most of the route follows the road between Křivoklát and Rakovník, passing through forest for much of its length. Following the initial climbs, the course continues to roll upward before a steep ascent to Špičák between the ninth and tenth kilometers. A sharp descent occurs around the thirteenth kilometer, after which the final two kilometers level out through Rakovník, crossing a park and finishing in the stadium by the Sokol building. Maraton Kladno organizes the race, which has a history sufficient to have reached at least its 30th edition.
