Sokolský běh republiky - Nový Bydžov

The Sokolský běh republiky in Nový Bydžov is a running event centered at the Sokolovna and the adjacent Sportring complex. The main race begins with approximately 400 meters through town on quiet streets, then proceeds out of the built-up area onto a field path alongside a meadow. The course then narrows to a grassy trail beside the Cidlina river, reaching a turnaround point about 2.3 km from the start, before returning the same way. Children's races start from the Sokolovna: younger participants complete 50 meters within the Sportring complex plus one lap of the running oval, while older children run the initial stretch and three oval laps before heading back to the start for their finish. Facilities include toilets, showers, refreshments, and nearby parking.
