Krkonosska 50 is a mountain trail race held at the Svaty Petr ski resort in the Krkonose, the Czech Republic's highest mountains. It is part of the Trail Running Cup and serves as the Czech championship for long mountain running. Participants can select from 8, 21, or 50 kilometer distances, with men and women starting concurrently. The race enters a protected national park zone, a distinctive feature in Czech trail running, with the higher sections of the course reaching elevations of 1,200 to 1,300 meters.
The course ascends from Svaty Petr via Mechova stezka to Na plane, proceeds along Klinovky towards Stoh, then descends back towards the ski resort, offering views of Kozi hrbety. The half marathon continues through a stream valley, ascends again below the former Krakonos lift, and reaches the Horal hotel, marking the divergence point for the shorter and longer courses. The 22 km option features approximately 850 meters of elevation gain, while the longer routes continue towards Bouda U Bileho Labe and Erlebachovy boudy. The event attracts several hundred participants across its distances. Its history includes a hall of fame honoring past winners and founder Ada Kleps, a former head of the mountain rescue service.
