5150 Erkner is a short-distance triathlon in Erkner, Brandenburg, held around mid-September as part of the IRONMAN 5150 series. The main race follows the classic 5150 format: a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run, positioning it between sprint racing and the longer IRONMAN 70.3 weekend format. It is intended for amateur and age-group athletes, with around 800 participants expected. The program also includes shorter triathlon options, such as Triathlon XS and Triathlon M. The swim takes place in Dämeritzsee, a lake on the edge of Erkner, before cyclists proceed on a course along the Spree. The run returns athletes through the city, giving the race a local feel rather than being held on closed rural roads. Junior athletes have their own IRONKIDS event, and the weekend features a Family Party at the sports center with games and activities. Erkner also hosts the IRONMAN 70.3 race on the same weekend, creating a full triathlon festival.
